Since the early 90's, John Ogle has been writing, recording, performing and touring. His past bands include Drippy Drawers, Woolly Mammoth, Fifteen, All Is Lost, New Carrisa, Holy Shit That Was A Close One, and Tex Fritter. But for all his punk and rock influence, It's always been his solo work that carries subltle power.
John creates images and landscapes that are whimsical and imaginative, at the same time being relateable and familiar. Through clever twists of terms and his unique tonal storytelling, he creates snapshots of times and places and people that seem so close and so far away.
This is John Ogle's first official solo album. His character shines through on all nine tracks, as he weaves though folk, Indy, and rock styles. Thank you John Ogle for this gem of an album.
